Doubt

Here I am, pretending to be a teacher for 15 minutes. My doubt is; will I be able to perform much the same task when I hit the school? Is it impossible for me apply all of the skills that I've learn here to the max? Can I? I'm not sure. Doubt..
Then I start to draw my own conclusion. Maybe it is a little hard for me to do that. Why??

Firstly, I have to consider the place where the teaching is held. Is the place gonna provide all the facilities that i will need in teaching. I dont think so since the school usually lack of facilities related to media and etc.

Second, the proficiency. During the simulated teaching, I didn't experience the problem with the students' proficiency since my student is my course mates. But, in the real school, the level of proficiency is a very important matter to think about. I need to know my students level so that my lesson/activities are parralel for them.

Third, the syllibus. with current exam-based education, the teacher will be struggling with the time to keep in track with the specification. So, the time constrains will somehow adjust teacher's performance and later will cause them to focus on the exam rather than do the real teaching.

I have the same doubt too.
Facilities in school are also a big doubt. The teaching aids that we use here normally are power point presentation and songs and music.
Will all schools have the projector and LCD.
This is a big doubt!!!!

I tatally agree with heriana when it comes to proficiency because our students here are all good and have a good command of English. Doing stimulated teaching in front of them seems to be an easy task and we do not experience the real situation.Students level in school is not the same as people here.

Moreover, the current syllibus had to be considered. I feelmany of us do not refer to that.Well. this is when we are going to have problem.....
